what is covered?
you are entitled to unlimited technical support via telephone or via the support in a box website for any computer (pc, mac etc.), any computer software (ms windows vista  ms office etc.) and any computer peripherals (apple ipods, printers etc.) in your home.
support in a box also covers you for a son or daughter who is away at college / university, all we ask is that you register the temporary out of home user.

how long does my warranty last?
your warranty lasts for 12/24 or 36 months depending on the support in a box product that you purchased.

what if a support in a box engineer cannot help me?
support in a box will use its vast technical knowledge and endeavor to solve the problem for you by using the support in a box ‘think tank’ a group of the finest technical minds at support in box. we will then call or email you back with a solution.

if the problem is caused by a fault with your hardware rather than a technical issue don’t worry as support in a box has in house and external on-site engineers who can upgrade or repair your hardware as an additional service.

 

what is not covered?

support in a box will not cover hardware replacement, data loss, accidental damage, intentional damage, normal wear and tear, unreasonable or excessive use, acts of god including fire and flood, environmental conditions, act of violence or similar occurrence, theft etc and is purely a technical support service. however support in a box also offers a range of upgrade and repair services either in house or on-site.

support in a box will cover all computer related products in the registered home plus an additional temporary out of home user. support in a box will not cover businesses unless the user has purchased a support in a box pro product

service control policies

This section outlines the call limits that apply to support in a box within each 12 month period. service control is designed to keep support in a box affordable by making sure that high usage by a minority is avoided.

support in a box will have the right to cancel the support contract if any household uses more than twenty unique support calls within a 12 month period. support in a box will be entitled to charge an additional premium for any additional calls.

support in a box does not cover special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including without limitation, any liability for third party claims against you for damages, for products or services not being available for use, or for lost data or lost software. support in a box maximum liability will be no more than the amount paid for the support in a box product that is the subject of the claim. this is the maximum amount for which support in a box is responsible.

-*calls are charged at local rates and lines are open 8:00am till 7:00pm monday to friday, 10:00am till 4:00pm saturday and sunday
